Ways of asking someone to say something again

It happens to us all. Somebody says something, we don't hear it properly or don't understand it and need them to say it again.

Here are some ways of asking them to repeat themselves.

1. Pardon?

2. Sorry, I didn't catch that. 

3. Say that again.
 
4. What did you say?

Informal ways:
These should be used with caution and are better with people you know, like friends and family, because they can come across as rude. 

1. What?

2. You what?

3. Come again?

3. Eh?
