Onomatopoeia uses voiced consonants to invoke images of large ornumerous things and/or sounds to recreate thoughts/feelings.
When you hear "zazaa" it sounds like heavy rain.
Doesn't “bara-bara” give you the feeling that the rain is heavy, too?

Onomatopoeia is a rich word in Japanese. Using onomatopoeia in conversation makes it easy and convenient to express fine language nuances.
It also increases your expressive capability in Japanese.
Since I'd like to introduce it little by little as we continue to study together, please give me a message with some requests from the scenes you watch in cartoons, dramas and manga.
If there is something you do not understand, please ask me so I can continue helping you more and more.
