Today we’re going to talk about Russian pronunciation and the unstressed “О” rule in particular. Сегодня мы немного поговорим о русском произношении, а именно о безударном “О”. 




Do you remember the unstressed “О” rule? Yes, it’s when it sounds like a short “A”.For example, the word “вопрос” has the stress on the last syllable, it means that the first “O” sounds like a short “А” /а/; the word’s transcription is /вапрос/= /vaprós/. 





Let’s check how good you’re at Russian pronunciation! If you don’t remember where stress is in the following words, don’t worry, I’ll give you some hints just after the test and you return to the test again.
