This was a tough course that included onsite and online classes. I also did nearly 20 hours of teaching practice in an adult ESL community college course -- this gave me huge respect and admiration for non-English speakers who are learning the language.

UVa's English Department was ranked #2 in the US while I was there. I received a great education with some of the best teachers in the country. They gave me a love of language and learning that I try to pass along to my students.

The adult classes included Business English, Communication Skills, and Pronunciation. This was a paid position as a part-time teacher.
