My name is Peter Ehret and I have been teaching German for five years in a prestigious language school in Granada, Spain.
I am officially recognized and certified to teach German as a foreign language. I got the accreditation by the well known Goethe-Institut after having completed with success an annual course in methodology and didactics for teaching German as a foreign language.
My teaching experience started in 2011, parallely to my university career in Political Science in my native town, Munich. After that, I started working as a German teacher while continuing my studies as a Master Student and PHD-candidate in Granada, Spain.
At the moment, I am finishing my dissertation and working as a German teacher in a private language academy.
My working experience includs students in all ages and levels. But my specialization is the teaching of absolute beginners.
As me long-year experience with all types of students illustrates, you can only learn a language by enjoying what you are doing.
So, having fun will be the upper priority in my class. It is more important to introduce the materia step-by-step and repeating the contents than rushing ahead with new vocabulary or extended grammar rules. German is a language with my be appear difficult at the beginning - so you need to go slowly in order to develope a basis you can work on. But once you got used to the German language particularities, going ahead is quite easy and makes a lot of fun.
