American English Proverbs: Don't put off for tomorrow...

hace 6 años

DON'T PUT OFF FOR TOMORROW WHAT YOU CAN DO TODAY

Meaning: Don't unnecessarily postpone doing something

Example:
Kathy is late for work because she had car trouble. The engine kept overheating and she barely made it to her office. Her car had been acting up for some time now. She keeps saying that she is going to have it fixed, but she never gets to do it. When she leaves for home her car breaks down and she is stranded on the road.
