I'm an experienced Swedish and ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher, based in Sydney, Australia.
Languages and education have always been my passion, and since moving from Sweden to Sydney, my love for sharing Swedish language and culture has only grown. I’ve been teaching online since 2017, with experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults at all levels—beginner, intermediate, and advanced. In addition to online classes, I also teach face-to-face in Sydney, working with both teenagers and adults.
I hold qualifications from both Sweden (a Bachelor of Arts in Swedish as a Second Language from Linneaus University) and Australia (a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics for The University of Sydney), along with a Certificate IV in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language).
When planning one-on-one lessons, I'm very flexible, tailoring lessons to your needs and goals. Whether you'd like to follow a textbook, focus on casual conversation, or explore news articles through reading and discussion, I can adapt to your preferred learning style. If you're aiming to reach a specific level or prepare for an exam, I can help with that too.
Since I’m located in Sydney, I’m a great match for students in Australia, Asia, and the Middle East, as well as for students in Europe looking for morning classes and students in the US looking for afternoon/evening classes.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll likely find me enjoying a Swedish-style fika or an Aussie brunch, walking with an audiobook in my ears, or at home learning how to crochet.
