I was born in the UK and have been teaching English for almost 20 years.
I’ve prepared many students for exams such as IELTS, TOEFL and the main Cambridge exams. I’ve also helped many students prepare for job interviews.
I’m a firm believer that learning should be a fun and enjoyable experience so my classes are as dynamic and interactive as possible. My students get plenty of speaking time during which we learn and practise lots of new vocabulary. Any mistakes are corrected and we discuss any necessary grammar points as well as work on pronunciation. For more advanced students it’s important to learn common phrasal verbs and expressions used by native speakers in order to sound more natural.
So if you’re just starting out on your journey with English, or are an advanced speaker, please book a trial lesson so we can talk about your requirements. For each student I create an individual course that suits your particular needs and that will help you reach your goals.

Hello! My name is Bridget and I´m an American teacher living in Cartagena, Spain. I´ve been an English teacher now for 14 1/2 years and I love it so much, I´ve opened my own school. I taught young learners for one year in Poland before coming to Spain. I think it´s important to have fun while both learning and teaching, so I try to make classes as entertaining as possible, playing games (yes, even with adults!) and changing written activities to speaking activities. All my students know my laugh! I enjoy teaching grammar as well as I find it quite easy! I´ve taught people of all ages from 2 years old to 75 years old. I have a lot of experience teaching Cambridge, Trinity, and TOEFL exams as well. I think it´s important to make mistakes as a learner as that´s how people learn! I´m excited to meet new people.

My name is Bronwyn, but students and friends usually call me Bronnie, which I prefer as it seems friendlier.
I have taught English as an additional language to students of all ages and levels of proficiency from several regions around the world. I also happen to hold a high school teacher license here in the US.
Being an enthusiastic language learner myself, currently German, I have a sound understanding of the process of language learning and the patience it takes from both learner and teacher, alike. I love watching the students' confidence grow as they start to realize that the skill of speaking another language proficiently is within reach.
A variety of teaching techniques and teaching experience come with me to the classroom from my work with Berlitz, my training with The Berlin School of English, the TESOL corporation, and of course formal teacher preparation and theory and practical application as a licensed high school teacher. But most of all, I bring encouragement and en...
