Here are some really good phrasal verbs that are great to get you started.
Try to write your own sentence that is relevant to you so it helps you remember.
CALL OFF; cancel an event
It was raining so much we decided to call off the picnic.
GET ON; have a good relation with somebody.
I get on really well with my neighbours.
GO OFF; an explosion / or an explosion of noise
The alarm clock went off at 6.30am
COME ACROSS; to find something that you're not looking for.
I was walking in London when I came across a fantastic restaurant.
PUT OFF; to postpone something
The meeting was put off until next week as there was a big traffic jam.
