Is it possible to be "on and island" and also "off an island" at the same time?

Here is my masterclass for you for today. Just a bit of fun with English prepositions. My purpose is to amuse, and to educate. (Not confuse).😜

Here we go.

I live on an island, the Isle of Wight. (On an island)

Now for the serious stuff.

I live on an island, (the Isle of Wight) which is off the South Coast of the island of Great Britain.

We now shorten this.

I live on an island, (the Isle of Wight), off an island, (Great Britain).

And there you have it.

I live on an island, off an island.🙃
