Counting and BIG numbers!

Ever been in a situation when you had to say a big number and completely screwed it up - confusing the other person and feeling embarrassed afterwards?

It's not only you but MOST of my new students when they begin at my schools have this problem and I can fully understand why... because English is so WEIRD!
