Do you use idiomatic language?
7 anni faHi, As a teacher I rarely teach idiomatic language because I feel that it doesn't necessarily 'translate' across cultures. Recently I've been dabbling with a few simple idioms with my Taiwanese students and found it really fun! What are your favourite idioms? (Even translated from your own language?) I like 'Don't put all your eggs in one basket', 'The calm before the storm', and 'Barking up the wrong tree'!! What do you like? :)
Thanks
Teacher Zowee
