DON'T LET THE FEAR OF EMBARRASSMENT KEEP YOU FROM LEARNING ENGLISH
2 mesi faOften when I speak with my students they let me know how shy they can be when speaking in English, especially with native speakers. Learning English can be challenging, and it's perfectly normal to feel a bit self-conscious about it. But remember, you already have a significant advantage: you speak your native language and are now adding English to your skills. That’s a huge accomplishment!
English, with its many exceptions and quirky rules, can be especially tricky. It’s okay to have an accent and it’s okay to make mistakes. Mistakes are a natural part of the learning process, and no one should make you feel bad about them. If someone does, that’s their issue, not yours.
Don’t let the fear of embarrassment hold you back. By choosing to learn a new language, you’re already achieving something remarkable. Embrace the journey, be proud of your progress, and keep pushing forward. You’ve got this!
