4 anni faMany of my students are native Spanish speakers, either from Spain itself or other Spanish-speaking countries. Recently, I discovered this great vocabulary list, which was compiled by a man from Málaga. It can help you learn some pretty advanced English vocab really fast!
The words were 'borrowed' from Spanish, and so they look very similar to words that you will probably be familiar with, like banana, embargo, and incommunicado for example. All those words have exactly the same meaning in English, though they are pronounced slightly differently.
There are also some words which have slightly different meanings in Spanish and English. However, I am sure you will soon be able to remember the difference!
