Greetings! I am professional language teacher with lots of experience in the both the classroom and the business world.
In addition to being a teacher, I am also a practicing attorney and a business owner. I have a Certificate to Teach English to Speakers of Other Languages, a Juris Doctor (law degree), a Master's Degree in Education, a Bachelor's Degree in English, and a Certificate in Technical Writing.
I have taught language classes in-person in both Germany and Southeast Turkey. I have taught remotely in China and Iran. I have also taught many classes of international students from around the world here in the United States. I studied French for six years and learned to speak some German while living in Germany, as well.
It’s true that language learning applications have changed the way people approach language learning in general. But no matter how accurate your translation device, there is no substitute for real-time practice. I use a communicative approach to learning—grammar and usage are important, but making sure I am meeting your language objectives is what counts.

For a trial lesson, I will ask new students to tell me what they are most interested in learning. I will prepare a lesson to address that specific learning objective to make sure new students are comfortable with my teaching style.
