Hi, my name’s Zach. I’m an experienced and qualified English teacher from the South West of England.
I have a CELTA and a degree in Linguistics & English Language.
I taught students in-person from all over the world for the 8 years leading up to the pandemic, then I moved online and have taught over 1500 classes (on Verbling and Busuu) in the last 3 years, so I am familiar with different specifications and styles of teaching. I have mixed my passion for teaching with my love of travelling by teaching in Spain, Austria, Italy, Belgium and Germany.
If you book a class with me, I’ll send you a placement test and needs analysis so that I can tailor the classes to your level and goals. Then you’ll have the opportunity to pick from a range of topics that will help us structure the lessons.
Lessons with me are very communicative and relaxed because I believe the best way to learn a language is by having fun. There will be lots of conversation and games and challenges but I’ll also be taking note of any errors that you make with your grammar and pronunciation so that I can tailor the feedback specifically for you.
I’m also a course-book writer and a public speaker, so I give public seminars on my techniques for teaching English as foreign language to fellow teachers.
