I have been teaching English for nearly three years with over 2500 taught lessons and counting! Over the years, I've had a chance to visit several countries including Japan, Korea, Costa Rica and Taiwan. I've had an opportunity to teach different nationalities including people from Russia, Brazil, Spain, Japan, Korea, France, China, Ukraine and several other nationalities. I aim to treat each person as an individual. While it may work for some, I am reluctant to take a (one size fits all) approach. Needless to say, my students share the common goal of wanting to learn English but each of them has different routes they need to take in order to reach their common goal. I have enjoyed meeting so many interesting people through 3,500 hours of teaching on Verbling. For 20 years before joining Verbling, I was involved with international students at high school and university levels. My work gave me a lot of experience in communicating with students and families whose first language was not English. My lessons will always be based on the student's present level and interest.
