Hello everyone, my name is Ester and I’m from Barcelona. Catalan is my mother tongue and I’ve been teaching Catalan and English for the last 7 years.
I’m a qualified Social Educator and I mainly use storytelling strategies (incorporate true or fictional stories) in order to engage my students and make learning more relevant to them. My Catalan lessons are tailored made. If you only need to know elementary vocabulary and structures for a short stay, we’ll focus on everyday language and will do lots of practice. If you’re going to college, we’ll work more on grammar and academic structures. You might also want to work in Barcelona, then, according to your business, we’ll focus on specific voc and Catalan for business.
