I help motivated business professionals to improve their job performance by advancing their communication and presentation skills in English. I am originally from Northamptonshire in the UK, and have had a varied career, first qualifying with a teaching degree in Manchester, then spending time working in purchasing and import/export for a promotional gift company. I then spent many years as a Business Analyst with a major insurance company working both on an organisation-wide transformation program and later as part of projects to bring new services online, before finally working as a manager to help establish the newly established customer contact centre. Hello, I am a native English speaker (British) and have been teaching English since 2008. I am Celta and Delta qualified and am a trained Cambridge speaking examiner. I have lots of experience with general and business English at all ages and levels. I have taught monolingual and multilingual classes in many countries including Ecuador, the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain and Australia. I am bilingual, I speak Spanish fluently. I studied French and German at school and have picked up some Portuguese over the years. I am currently learning Italian. My teaching demeanor is friendly, calm, professional and patient. I have a wide range of interests including: travelling, cooking, photography, psychology, philosophy, science, politics, health and fitness, business and art.
