Tailoring lessons to every student

Hi Everyone!!!

The ideas that all teachers are good at teaching every aspect of a language is obviously not true. I know that I could improve my teaching abilities when teaching young children for example. I do more research before my lessons that involve these students and prepare very carefully.
Teachers should always be looking for ways to improve themselves and learn new strategies, I have recently been teaching slang word usage to a student and it has been an extraordinary amount of fun. I think preparing for these kind of lessons is very exciting as I usually discuss with the student beforehand, what particular theme they are looking for. One of the most interesting topic was "insults and swearing" and as my student was a more advanced student I had to prepare this topic and the lesson was hilarious!

This specific lesson planning for each student's specific needs is very important when a teacher wants to be a popular teacher online.
