The Italian modal verbs
6๋ ์ VOLERE (want), POTERE (can / be able to) and DOVERE (must / have to) are called "verbi servili" or "verbi modali" (modal verbs).
We use them with another verb in the infinitive form.
For example:
๐ฎ๐น Non voglio studiare.
๐ฌ๐ง๐บ๐ธ I don't want to study.
๐ฎ๐น Posso entrare?
๐ฌ๐ง๐บ๐ธ Can I come in?
๐ฎ๐น Devi mangiare.
๐ฌ๐ง๐บ๐ธ You have to eat.
