Hi, I am Tuchi a Kenyan and Swahili native. I am a Swahili language teacher to elementary and high school students. I enjoy interacting with people from various cultures around the world as this helps broaden my general worldview. In my free time, I enjoy taking nature walks to ease my mind as I enjoy the calming and often breathtaking atmosphere.
I am a patient and diligent teacher who will always seek innovative methods to ensure my students understand and enjoy the lessons. I strive to create a good rapport with the learners always for a healthy learning environment to maximize the uptake and retention of information.
I believe in learner-centered approaches as they have been proven to work best. I, therefore, let the learner take charge of the process while I offer assistance and corrections where necessary especially in conversation practice. In more formal lessons, I come equipped with relevant resources that will offer the best guidance towards achieving the set objective.
