Copy and paste : plagiarism?
5 years agoI thought that Verbling was more or less an academic community and therefore was respecting some ethical standards used in a college environment. I am a bit shocked that teachers of different languages and cultural backgrounds publish contributions on Verbling that are simple copies of texts that they found on the internet, word by word. I know that grammar cannot be reinvented. I am speaking about contributions on general topics. Shouldn't they at least mention the website or blog from where they were copied?
In Europe there are very strict rules about copy and paste. It is called plagiarism.
