EXAMPLES

  • Sometimes you just need someone to talk to.
  • It's easy to learn something about anything, but not everything.
  • He needs to find somewhere to live.
  • It is clear to anyone that he is the one who stole the money.
  • If anything can go wrong, it will.
  • I've lost my keys. I can't find them anywhere.
  • Everyone wants to be rich, no one wants to be poor.
  • I knew nothing of that. This is news to me.
  • The dog was nowhere to be found, they look everywhere but he was gone.
  • Everybody participated in the event, even though it was raining.
  • They take their children everywhere with them.

USE

We use them when we want to refer to something (one thing/animal or several things/animal) or somebody (one person/pet or several people/pets) whithout actually mention it/them or him/her/them.
