Teaching Teenagers
7 anos atrás A poem I wrote last year about my 10th grade FCE students :)
To get the most out of teen classes you must give them leeway, but finding that balance between encouragement and control is not an easy task, especially as so much depends on it :)
Teaching Teenagers.
I adore looking at
The guilty smiles,
Hung like fake jewels
On their innocent faces.
Butter would not melt
In such fair mouths.
Angels in disguise
Only tell innocent lies.
The restless minds
Of impetuous imps
Brimming with Life,
And burdened with strife.
Are a challenge to reach
But an absolute joy to teach.
