Hello! My name is Bridget and I´m an American teacher living in Cartagena, Spain. I´ve been an English teacher now for 14 1/2 years and I love it so much, I´ve opened my own school. I taught young learners for one year in Poland before coming to Spain. I think it´s important to have fun while both learning and teaching, so I try to make classes as entertaining as possible, playing games (yes, even with adults!) and changing written activities to speaking activities. All my students know my laugh! I enjoy teaching grammar as well as I find it quite easy! I´ve taught people of all ages from 2 years old to 75 years old. My name is Jeff and I teach conversation, grammar, reading comprehension, writing, and SAT/ACT/SSAT/HSPT prep. From 1998 to April 2003, I lived in Taipei, Taiwan, teaching ESL and studyingMandarin. After leaving Taiwan, I moved on to Honolulu, where I again found employment as an ESL instructor. This stint was brief because of my desire to attend graduate school in San Francisco, where I studied Mandarin and began teaching test prep. For 16 years (2005-2021) I was the English Department Head at Elite Educational Institute, a test prep company. My duties included teaching the majority of the English classes and private lessons and training and managing all new instructors.
