Γεια σας! I live in London, and I am a professional Greek teacher. I worked as a teacher at the Hellenic School of St. Andrew in Edinburgh, Scotland. I am also an online Greek tutor for adults and children. I am a qualified teacher of the Greek language, literature and history by the Greek government. If you want to learn Greek in a simple, interactive and of course an educational way, you are in the right place!
Working Experience:
I work as a teacher at the Edinburgh Hellenic School of St. Andrew in Scotland, where I teach modern Greek language as well as Greek mythology and culture.
I am also a self-employed Greek tutor for both children and adults of all levels. I hold an MSc in Archaeology from the University of Edinburgh, and my BSc was in History and Archaeology at the University of Thessaloniki.
Teaching methods:
I try to organise my courses based on the level of the class and the individual needs of each student. Therefore, different material and teaching methods are used in each class. I know how demanding and challenging is to learn a new language since I learnt two different languages myself: English and French. For this reason, I am really patient with all my students and ready to repeat every single detail and information as many times as it needed until everything is clear. I am also really confident to communicate and cooperate with my students to succeed in the best result. Most importantly, I am a good listener. I am here for all my students depending on their needs. Together we can explore the Greek language and culture based on your needs and goals.
