AUTUMN BUCKET LIST - DAY 24 and 25

VISITA UN POSTO NUOVO

Visit a new place

As a former tourist guide VISITARE (to visit) is such an essential verb to me!
When we visit a place we are not just walking around or having a quick view; we are actually training our mind to pay attention to details, our brain to make connections, and our eyes to capture with a critical attitude.
We can spend years in the same place without ever truly visiting anything, and that means that we miss many chances to learn and discover more.
That's why from time to time I like to go and visit a new place around where I live.
If you're curious to know which new place I have visited during my Autumn Bucket List Challenge if can "visit" this page ;-D
Present tense
IO VISITO
TU VISITI
LUI/LEI VISITA
NOI VISITIAMO
VOI VISITATE
LORO VISITANO

Imperative tense
VISITA (TU)
VISITATE (VOI)

DI' UN "GRAZIE!"

Say a "thank-you!"

I think that most people constantly feel GRATITUDE (GRATITUDINE) in their hearts; but I also believe that gratitude is not just something that we should feel, but mostly PRACTICE (PRATICARE, ESERCITARE), and saying "thank you" - "grazie" out loud is the best way!

DIRE (to say)is the verb that we use when we take thoughts out from the inside and we bring them to others through words (PAROLE) - and they might be spoken (PRONUNCIATE) or written (SCRITTE).

Present tense
IO DICO
TU DICI
LUI/LEI DICE
NOI DICIAMO
VOI DITE
LORO DICONO

Imperative tense
DI' (TU)
DITE (VOI)

Pay attention to this IRREGULAR VERB:

TU DICI ---> DI' (it comes from verb DICI, but that's a from that is never used! We use instead DI with a little sign of apocope = DI', cutting off the last part of the word - this is NOT and accent mark!)
