Let's start a conversation!! Hello! My name is Stephie Ling, and I live in a small town, on the East Coast of South Africa, and I absolutely love teaching my students, and joining them on your English learning journey :)
I used to be a Graphic Designer, and I have a Diploma in Media Design & Technology, and worked for 12 years at a printing company before deciding to make online-teaching my chosen career. I have a 120 hour, intense practical TEFL/TESOL certificate, and I have been a teacher on Verbling since 2019. I have never looked back, and I enjoy meeting new people and learning new cultures and talking about new interests.
I love reading, and listening to audio books, especially of books I have read already, as I love to hear the written word spoken, and re-live my love for the book from a listening experience. I also enjoy a little bit of gardening, going to the gym, and spending time with my family and friends. I am creative, enthusiastic and a compassionate teacher, who believes that teaching should be fun and stimulating.
I would love to help you with your English, whether it is to improve your: speaking, writing or reading skills, or just understanding expressions and phrases, I can help you with your English learning journey.

Conceptualizing design projects from start to finish such as store brochures, flyers, business cards and posters, and working closely with the clients, in conceptualizing their finished product, I have also designed school magazines for a rural Education Centre, as well as a local Primary school, from start to print, all while meeting deadlines and problem solving design obstacles. As I have knowledge in both litho and digital setups, I can successfully meet deadlines when on my own, or within a group.
