About Me
I have 4 years of work experience teaching English in both China and Spain. During my time in both countries, I have gain valuable experiences and insights in teaching students from different cultural backgrounds. I have a degree in graphic design and a TEFL certificate.
As an enthusiastic TEFL educator, I am dedicated to provide learners with high quality English lessons. I believe learning a language isn’t just about learning the vocabulary and grammar but being able to apply what one has learnt to real life situations. I gamify my lesson to make them fun and interesting. Also, I enjoy adapting my lesson to real life situation, so the learners can see what they have learnt can be applied to day-to-day scenarios. Another thing that I find important when teaching a language is to provide the learners with cultural insights into English speaking countries. Here as a teacher, I can learn from learner about the different perspective they have on the English language and culture, hence helping me understand my learners needs more. Lastly, one thing I always tell my students when learning a language is to be patient, and be kind to yourself. It isn’t easy, and a learner isn’t always perfect. But if one is patient and puts in the hard work, they can be good at it.
