Stay At Home and Practice
We all are experiencing some hard times during this Covid emergency. Be forced to stay home and go out only for work or basic needs can, at the long run, be stressful; if I may use the term, some of us are "more lucky" since we have gardens, a balcony or maybe a deck, but many others live in small apartments, studio flats and just don't have any chance to go out and enjoy the sun. I have to admit that I am among the "lucky" people: my house is close to a city but still in the countryside, I have a deck and a decent garden and sometimes I just grab my laptop and go working outside. Honestly, I have never thought about it, I mean I used to go out and work on my lessons or on my feedback paper for my students, it was quite normal for me but during these days I'm thinking about this specific action ("phrasal verb, intransitive" my inner ESL teacher would say): to go out.
I'm aware that we are in this together, all over the world, and I often think: "what I can do, as an online teacher?"
I have two very close friends, Elena lives in a flat with his boyfriend and Francesca is living in Milan, in a single room, for work and study reasons. We hang out with skype every single day since all this started and well, I've started to understand that it is not easy, at all. It is not for me, because I can't see, hug and physically support my friends because my job in the schools has neither been started, because of many other reasons but I can easily go downstairs and sit under the sun in my deck or eat my dinner outside; many people can't. Francesca is stuck in a single room, the only reasons why she goes out is for the grocery every two weeks, the same as Elena and his partner who feel "happy" when they go grocery or when they go to take out the trash.

I gave myself an answer: I can help people spend some of the time they must be at home by practicing or learning Italian.
I do offer a 15% discount code, for both single and bundle lessons, for everyone who wants to learn or practice the Italian language. The code will be available for all the lockdown period.
