Hello! Γεια σου! My name is Kallia and I'm a native Greek tutor.
I have graduated from the University of Crete, Department of Philosophy and Social Studies.
Also, I hold a Master's Degree in Teaching Greek as a second language from the University of Cyprus.
With 15 years of experience in the field, I have developed a deep understanding of how to effectively teach Greek to non-native speakers.
My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and interactive learning environment. I believe that learning a new language should be an enjoyable and enriching experience. To achieve this, I utilize a communicative approach that emphasizes real-life conversations and practical language use. Each lesson is customized to fit the unique needs and learning styles of my students. I employ a variety of teaching methods, including multimedia materials, hands-on activities, and cultural immersion techniques, to engage students and enhance their learning experience.
My goal is to help students not only learn Greek but also appreciate the rich cultural heritage that comes with it. Whether you are a beginner or looking to advance your Greek language skills, I am here to guide you every step of the way with patience, expertise, and enthusiasm.

During a trial lesson, I assess your level and discuss your goals. We start with a brief conversation and proceed with basic activities such as vocabulary, simple conversations, and reading comprehension. I provide immediate feedback and answer any questions you may have. Finally, we discuss the next steps and create a tailored learning plan to achieve your language goals.
