Hello! I'm Rachael, a professional, British EFL teacher with over 25 years' experience as a specialist in English as a Foreign Language and English for Speakers of Other Languages. I have taught all ages from 3 to 70, lots of different nationalities, and all levels (from Absolute Beginner to Proficiency) in the Czech Republic, Spain and here in England.
I am happy to help you with grammar, vocabulary, accuracy, reading, writing, speaking, fluency, pronunciation, listening, exam preparation, academic English, business English or functional everyday English. Book a trial lesson, so I can design a course to deal with your specific language needs and priorities. I'm fluent in Czech, and have studied French, German, Latin and Spanish, so I know exactly how it feels to be a language learner.

My job is to make you feel relaxed enough to communicate comfortably. I’ll begin by asking you questions: why do you need English? What can you already do? And what do you need to learn to do better?
I’ll listen, make notes, and I’ll adapt my teaching style to suit your learning style. I’ll give constructive feedback: as little – or as much – correction as you want, and then I’ll plan the course around your needs.
