汉语语音 // Pronunciation Tip

5 年前
大家好!你们好吗?对外人来说学中文最难的方面是语音。
Hello everyone. How are you? To foreigners of China and Taiwan, the hardest part about studying Chinese is correct pronunciation. This is because you must use your throat and gut often when speaking Mandarin- this is very different from speaking English!

For example, when you pronounce the "r" sound in English or other languages, you are supposed to bite your teeth together. However, with Mandarin, your teeth do not have to bite down at all; you just tighten your throat to pronounce the Chinese "r" sound.

Also, in other languages the "i" sound doesn't require the speaker to use their throat. In Mandarin, the "i" sound will require the speaker to tighten their throat and gut muscles to pronounce it correctly.

Moreover, Mandarin uses the tonal system (your tone of voice matters!) to differentiate between the sounds.

Please watch the short video below to see examples of how I use my throat when speaking Mandarin.

中文老师,请您跟学生帮练习汉语语音。是重要极了!:)
