Hi there! I’m Paul from Venezuela. I’ve been living in France since 2012, where I work as a fully qualified Spanish teacher at the university level, with up-to-date training. I specialize in helping students improve their Spanish pronunciation and grammar, assisting many in developing a more natural and fluid way of speaking. I discover I wanted to be a full time teacher when I moved to Poland and started teaching sporadically. After I came back to Spain I took a course on teaching skills and started to teach independently. And I loved it! The more I taught the more I liked. I still love teaching cause I understand my culture better and the way Spanish people think. I find that fascinating. To me, explaining why we would say things in a certain way because of our culture is the best bit. Be sure you will always have contact with the real culture during our lessons. Hi! My name is Carmen, and I'm a Spanish teacher. Now the obvious things are out of the way, here are some things you may not know. My name means 'poem' in Latin, and I kind of like that. I was born in Granada, a cute city in the south of Spain where Carmen means 'big house with garden'. There, I graduated in philosophy, and learnt there is a word in my language to name the colour clouds turn at sunset. Amazed by that, I moved to Madrid to study arts and, trying to see as many of those clouds as possible, travelled a lot.
