Ciao! mi chiamo Maria Elena e sono contenta di essere una nuova insegnante di italiano qui su Verbling.
Ciao! My name is Maria Elena and I’m happy to be your new Italian teacher here on Verbling.
I would like to introduce myself.
I live in southern Italy in a beautiful little town near the see.
I have a bachelor in Foreign Languages and Litteratures. This is my passion. I read a lot in Italian but also in other languages.
Since when I graduated, I have been teaching on my own both in classes and in 1: 1 to students of all levels and backgrounds.
I’m bilingual in Italian and French.
Before learning Italian, I lived in Switzerland until the age of twelve.
I spoke and studied in French first and then also in German.
When I moved to Italy with my family, I was learning Italian very quickly.
Now after many years, I speak Italian as a mother tongue.
So, why should you choose me as your Italian teacher?
Firstly because I know the specific and particular difficulties that students find when they learn this beautiful language.
I found them too.
In second place because I can speak four languages: Italian , French, English and German.
Finally because I would like to think that my lessons will take you around Italy like travelers to discover culture and habits of my people.
In my lessons we’ll have a lot of speaking and I’m sure also a great time learning Italian! All lessons will be tailored around your needs and preferences.
