关于我
*Please read my instructions before you book lessons.
**Please note that the trial lesson is for consultation and level assessment. You will be given an additional 30min lesson if you enroll my class. If you want to book for a trial lesson, please book a 30min slot on my timetable.
Hello, I am Meena. I am a translator and have been teaching Korean for nearly 10 years.
Since my passion is languages, I spend a lot of time watching polyglots’ videos in which they talk about effective ways for learning languages. They have different points of view regarding studying grammar, using flash cards, when to start practicing speaking and so on but one thing they all agree is that you need to do it every day. I couldn’t agree more on this point because I had amazing Spanish teachers before but I didn’t practice every day even though I enjoyed their classes. As a result, I remained in beginner level.
***My goal for you, how to get most out of my Korean class
What I can help you with is to reach you intermediate level in which you would be able to have daily, casual conversation without any major discomfort. I’m offering you more than just one hour class a week, which means you should do homework after class. I have a system where, aside from our weekly one hour class, you need to commit 15 min a day or more depending on how motivated you are to speak Korean naturally without spending too much time having to recollect what you learned. (Homework can be different depending on goals but the main idea of homework is to have you create relevant content based on what we covered in our previous session and to practice many times to get used to using the language.)
