I was inspired to make teaching my career many years ago. While living in Korea I realized how much of an impact I was having on my students’ lives and futures, and loved seeing my students succeed. Hi! My name's Kevin. I'm an American expat living in Belgrade. I've been teaching English since 2011.
The final level of learning any language is sounding like a real person, not a robot. What I do is take the English you know and sculpt it into everyday words and expressions that native English speakers actually use.
For instance, you can say, "I understand" and everyone will understand. But if you said instead "I get it," you'll impress the native speaker to no end (trust me on this).
I have a range of topics to talk about, one per class, that'll exercise your English in every which way. Or we can just talk about what you want to talk about.
All I do is ask you questions, listen to your answers, and if I think you said something that could be changed a little to sound more natural, I'll both say it and write it in the chat box, so that you can both see and hear my suggestion.
