I am a native English speaker with 19 years experience teaching English as a foreign language. During my teaching career, I have taught thousands of private students and currently have a number of students, aged from 3 years to adult, including teenagers preparing for examinations required for entry to university. In addition to this I have worked in several private academies where the students have been of all ages and many working towards Cambridge exams (PET, FCE and CAE), IELTS, TOEIC. Whilst working at Isabell International School in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, I was solely responsible for every aspect within the English Department. Hello all and thanks for viewing my profile! Please allow me to tell you a little about myself. I have 3 TEFL certifications (20, 100 and120 hr certificates). I have been teaching English for nearly three years with over 2500 taught lessons and counting! Over the years, I've had a chance to visit several countries including Japan, Korea, Costa Rica and Taiwan. I've had an opportunity to teach different nationalities including people from Russia, Brazil, Spain, Japan, Korea, France, China, Ukraine and several other nationalities. I aim to treat each person as an individual. While it may work for some, I am reluctant to take a (one size fits all) approach. Needless to say, my students share the common goal of wanting to learn English but each of them has different routes they need to take in order to reach their common goal.
