In my experience I’ve met countless expats who have lived away from 'home' for years without learning the local language. Because living abroad and being immersed is not the same thing.

- To read the language consistently, in addition to the news sites listed above, you can find cool blogs and other popular sites on Alexa’s ranking of top sites per country.
