Über Mich
Hallo ihr Lieben! Ich bin die Verena, ich bin eine 36 Jahre alte Mutter und komme aus München in Deutschland, lebe aber seit 2004 im Zentrum Mexikos. I have been teaching German and English for 15 years now to all ages and all levels and I am very passionate about it. I have a BA in Language Teaching and want to get my Masters in Applied Linguistics in the future. I believe that motivation and exposure are the two most important aspects of language learning, so my teaching style is very fun and relaxing but at the same time goal oriented. Through experience, I strongly believe that the only way to learn anything is by enjoying the process. I have to admit that I love grammar instructions, but I also find it essential to talk as much as possible so one can make as many errors as possible (those are the ones you learn from). I am very open, patient, organized and creative. I have always preferred private classes, since I can meet a student on a personal level and so adapt to this student's personal needs, interests, preferences, and goals. Speaking another language is like opening a door to another world, and it is such a rewarding experience. The process can be frustrating, but if you let me, I can help you along the way and make this a positive and enjoyable experience for you!

Verena is an excellent teacher with a very friendly engaging manner. She prepares well for the lesson, is responsive to issues as they arise and is attentive to details. I find her encouraging manner very helpful and would recommend her as a teacher, no matter what your level.

If you're a self-learner and want to quickly improve your German I couldn't recommend Verena more. She is always willing to adapt on the go to the needs I have. Weekly I bring her new questions and subjects I'm not that comfortable with yet and she prepares some material so we can discuss that topic on the next class. More than that she is a really nice person that I love to talk too, we have pleasant conversations about a lot of different things that I always enjoy a lot!
