Über Mich
A native British English speaker, I have been passionate about language learning since school. I studied Modern Languages at university in the UK, and continue to study Spanish, so understand the challenges of language learning from the student's perspective too.
I did Cambridge CELTA teacher training at the end of 2016 (after years of informal teaching) and worked for two years in Colombia, with a wide variety of business, university, school and private students.
Now back in the UK, I teach international learners of all ages, abilities, backgrounds and contexts. I love the variety of students and the breadth of teaching skills that entails. I have top qualifications and extensive experience, in general, business and academic English, as well as in Cambridge, IELTS and TOEFL international exams.
Being a good teacher is all about working with the student to find the personalized way that most effectively helps them grow in confidence and achieve their goals. It’s about connecting language learning with real life, making sense of English in a particular context, and recognizing a student’s personal needs, challenges and learning style.
I do currently have capacity for working with new students. If the schedule is not showing your preferred time, please do contact me and I will do my very best to find a space that suits you.
I offer premium, personalised coaching, attentive and responsive to your specific needs, to help you find your fluency.
Sessions are relaxed and engaging, and specifically designed to fit your context and your learning style.
I am not offering standard trial lessons. However, if you pay for a second session with me, I will reimburse you 50% of the first lesson fee.
