Hi everyone こんにちは,
I am Kumi a qualified Japanese teacher with a master degree of International relationship. I also have work experience as a business person (かいしゃいん) in Tokyo for solid 4 years and more so business Japanese can be one of my lesson options.
I can help people who are willing to learn Japanese, beginner (at least you can read Hiragana is prefered) to advanced from kids to elders using both in Japanese and English.
I lived in Australia for 2 years total and also the US for 6 months besides I love traveling so I can communicate with people in English. However during my lesson I try to talk Japanese most of time.

Basically my lesson is TALK, so hope you are a chatty person (^-^) and through the conversation we can find out what you need to learn/practice more. Of course we can focus on reading, writing and listening as well.
We can also use a textbook (such as Genki, みんなのにほんご）or any other materials if provided.

A very knowledgeable and helpful instructor. She is patient and can help guide you through areas where you may have some difficulty while also using enough Japanese to keep you engaged in the lesson. A great choice all around.

Kumi is a wonderful teacher. She was extremely patient and took the time to get to know me and showed interest in my life. It was a great experience practicing Japanese with Kumi and I will definitely be booking another lesson with her!
