What's the best way to learn languages? --- I have thought a lot about that question myself and had
many conversations with other polyglots at the Polyglot Conference and the Polyglot Gathering about it. I have written articles that are based on those conversations, as well as on literature about language learning and learning in general that I have read over the years.
If you need help with German and you prefer a teacher who takes into account your individual learning style, I am the right person. I will support you and help you find the way of learning German, that is right for you. However, if you need help with preparation for a German exam or a job interview that is coming up soon, I can guarantee you some highly effective lessons that will boost your confidence.
I have several years experience of teaching students from different ages online, in person, and in different institutions. I teached German to kids from zero, prepared students that are going to study in Germany for different exams like Telc or Goethe, prepared adults for job interviews or supported doctors who are preparing for the medical "Fachspracheprüfung" (patient - doctor role play).
Languages are an important thing for me. I just got my degree in Cultural and Cognitive Linguistics and love to work in different areas of the language industry, first of all teaching, but also translating, interpreting, localization, linguistics, editing... I would also like to learn a minority language from Africa, probably Tigrinya and work in the respective countries for some time.
Apart from that music is really important for me. I love playing the piano, composing and play in bands. Another really important thing is travelling and get to know all parts of the world.

Bruno is very knowledgeable and prepared. He makes sure that you understand the concepts of the lesson and has a wealth of material to use when teaching. He is also able to speak several languages and so can teach effectively at even a beginner level.

Max is amazing! I am a grammar nerd, so I love the fact Max can answer my questions with a logical grammatical explanation, rather than just saying "it sounds wrong, but I don't know why" as some teachers do. He is also excellent in explaining the differences between words that have similar translations in English. I bombard him with these questions every lesson, and he is always patient and helpful!
He finds extra exercises for a specific topic if I need more practice. He has an interesting insight from the point of view of translations, which is his specialty. I speak Spanish and Portuguese apart from English as does Max, so I appreciate it very much when Max can make references to these languages to explain a certain term or a grammar point. Above all, I have a lot of fun and laugh quite a bit in his lessons :)
I started studying with Max from A1 at the beginning of May, 2020, and I am almost done with B1 as of December 2020. Couldn't have done it without him! Totally recommended :)
