Cats or Dogs?

My kids keep bugging me to get them a pet. I didn't grow up with animals in the house, so I don't know what to expect. They want a dog but I'd prefer a cat. Cat or dog? What do you think??

Both cats and dogs make wonderful pets, each offering unique companionship. Cats are independent and low-maintenance, while dogs are loyal and active. Whether you prefer the purr of a cat or the wag of a dog's tail, each has its charm. For more about pet care and supplies, visit https://dankbros.net/farmers-link-toronto/

it should be dog because dog means responsiblity and when your kids grow with dog they already understand what that means before it hits them. And also they will learn timing , parental things so on...(yes i have dog 😄 )

I would always go for cats :) They are super independent and have their own funny personalities.
I am a cat person though so a little bit biased :) Dogs can be super cute too!! Just need to get the right breed for your life so they have everything they need :)

Even though your kids are bugging you for a pet, you need to consider which one you actually have time for; You, not your kids. Why? Because, consequently, you will be the one taking care of it.
Dogs are more fun, more active, and more needy for attention.
Cats can be very friendly, they are, at the end more independent and therefore, easier.
Dogs should not be left alone for long periods of time,.
Cats should't either, but they are better if it happens.

In case you wonder, I have both.

Thanks for the advice.. I just don't want a dog dictating my schedule. How selfish am I? hahaha.
