English Teaching Resources - What's new? What do you use?
7 years agoThere are so many tools, websites, and resources out there on the web - I'm just wondering what are some useful ones you have used with your students.
Here is an interesting one a student introduced to me this week:
It blew my mind! You type in a word that you're unsure of its pronunciation and it searches through thousands (or millions?) of YouTube videos where the word was used. Students can hear how the word is properly said and used in context. So cool!

I have a large repository of lesson plans, and templates. It took years to build up, but provides em with all the resources I need. For topics that update regularly, I pull from the internet using the keywords from each document.
That's fantastic! I often share forvo.com with my students for pronunciation, since there is an app alongside the website.
I use the English For Everyone series by DK Random House Penguin for handouts and exercises for almost every grammar point through the upper-intermediate level.
