I live in Singapore, but I am originally from Mexico. One common rumour is that Chinese people cannot pronounce the Mexican "R". I've found that although is hard, it can be done! Another one is that Spanish is very hard for Chinese, but again it can be done. If you have time, check Clément R. Cheng's youtube channel. He is a Chinese man who is learning Spanish, and he is very good. He even learned the most profane and obscene words, so it does sound like real Mexican Spanish. I actually think that Chinese and Mexicans have a lot of things in common. I see some Europeans consider some Chinese dishes gross, and I find them actually very good, and some even my mother gave them to me when I was a kid, like chicken feet.
I love eating exotic and different dishes. I'd love to try chicken feet! But they don't serve them here at Chinese restaurants. I wish I could cook them myself! Any suggestions or recipes?
Really? That's great! I'll book a class with you then :)
Thank you for sharing this channel for me, I will definitely go to see. In fact, there are some obstacles to learning a language, such as the order of sentence structure and standard pronunciation. But enough contacts can overcome these problems. Chinese people like to explore more ingredients because looking at very hulking ingredients may be the key to delicious food. Chicken feet are indeed ingredients that will be used in many Chinese dishes. I can understand why Europeans think that some Chinese cuisine is rough and it is difficult to imagine what chicken feet can make. I suggest that you have a chance to try Chinese food with chicken feet. You will love chicken feet.
That's so very kind of you! I'll be looking forward to cooking and eating them. I love tasting new dishes, specially exotic ones :)
China is a very big country and we know little about all the different regions and languages there. Now that Chinese people are coming to Europe, settling here, starting their own businesses, we are starting to be more in touch with your country, and more and more people are learning Mandarin. Also, Chinese food is very popular in Europe, but I'm afraid that we are not getting the real thing but an European version of Chinese cuisine.
There are also more and more foreigners coming to China to study or settle in China. There is no need to worry about language because we have many ways to solve language barriers. Believe me, most Chinese people are very friendly and enthusiastic. There are many interesting things in China. If you have the opportunity to travel, you will be very rewarding. Because of the distance, many Chinese foods cannot be authentic. I will try my best to teach you the correct way of cooking, as long as you don't bother and dare to try.
Thank you Jona! You are very kind :)
Hi Jona, there are many Chinese people here in Spain. They are known for being hardworking, industrious and smart business people. They learn everything they need to learn about Spanish people so as to adapt their businesses to the Spanish needs. Their children learn Spanish very fast and start helping their parents as little interpreters of the language. Learning Spanish must be very difficult for Chinese people - as learning Chinese languages is very difficult for Spanish people. And yet, here they are, enduring all kinds of difficulties entailed by being immigrants, and relentlessly moving forward.
It sounds very good. No matter which country you are in, you should live a positive life. It may be because there is a big difference between Chinese and Spanish. It will be slower to learn. It is always faster for children to learn languages.
