In this lesson:Learn and practice reading some Russian words with unstressed letter «О».Here is your first rule of pronunciation: letter O sounds like A when it is not stressed.  The Russian letter O is pronounced [o] when it is stressed and it is pronounced like A [a] or an unclear schwa [ə] when it is not stressed. This is called vowel reduction, and it is an important rule of the Russian pronunciation. unstressed О -> short A 

What is the correct pronunciation for the word хорошо?That`s right! It is /харашО/!And now listen to these two catchy songs to help unstressed О rule stick in your head =)
