More (-ing) made easy

In English, many Present Participles (-ing) of verbs can be used as adjectives, as shown in these examples:

- He might be irritating at times, but he was never boring.
- Love can be a confusing emotional experience for some people.
- Walking in the woods at night was a frightening experience.
- All the tricks were especially devised to produce mind-blowing effects.

Now try and write your own sentences using -ing adjectives until you become familiar with this way of using them. Here’s a list of -ing adjectives for you to practice:
