Not so obvious expressions in English
5 years ago"He had it coming, he had it coming, he only has himself to blame..."
I remember the first time I heard the expression "he had it coming" in a song from the amazing movie "Chicago". Through context I could understand what it meant, but had it not been contextualized I would not have understood it at all! Would you??
In case you haven't watched the movie - a total recommendation, by the way -, for someone to have it coming means that they deserve what happened to them, most of the time something negative!
How about you? Any expressions in English you find awesome/weird/out of the box??? Let me know!!
